Welcome to all members of our Thyroid Tribe, new and old. It is lovely to have you here as a part of our community! This community brings together real thyroid patient experiences so that we can learn from each other.

Did you know that without enough thyroid hormone, our bodies can shut down and enter a state known as Myxoedema Coma? This is explored further down.

My newsletter goes out every Thursday and is the best way to keep up to date with all my work in the thyroidsphere and hear directly from me without relying on social media algorithms.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

My newsletters will now alternate between being FREE and PAID ACCESS ONLY, in order to support my work as a writer and thyroid advocate. My thyroid advocacy work is my only job and I put a lot of time and work into it. I believe in people being paid for their work, especially when they have chronic illnesses (and produce resources for this), where work is often undervalued.

If you find my newsletters valuable and believe in paying people for their work too, please consider upgrading to a paid subscription.

As a free subscriber, you’ll now receive these emails every two weeks instead. Paid subscribers will continue to receive them weekly.

I hope you'll find this issue inspiring, reassuring and practical in your own journey back to good health with Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s. This newsletter plays a great role in thyroid patients motivating each other to get and feel healthier, stay healthy and build social accountability. We are focussed on positively moving forwards with our health!

Each of my newsletters include a blend of thyroid research, events, news, articles, discounts, tips and links to popular social media posts from the last week. Happy reading and let’s be the change we desire in the thyroid world. 😊

This newsletter is only possible with readers continued support. To receive new issues and support my work, consider becoming a paid subscriber.
