I’ve attempted twice to switch from Armour, to NP and Synthroid; both utter failures.
Armour, from what I understand, buffers the T3, and NP does not. That little detail makes a huge difference. On NP, my blood pressure rose significantly and I thought I was having a heart attack. So the doctor suggested a second medication for the blood pressure rise.
Synthroid caused major hair loss and general discomfort. At that point my doctor suggested I find another endocrinologist.
Sorry but influencer RFK jr is who got many to hate the medical community and pharmaceuticals industry and his anti vaxxine rhetoric is killing children and getting them sick. I realize your not him but there sure is a heluva lotta disinformation and lying going on in the world right now and its hard to know who to trust. I hear alot about Dr Eric Berg too, he’s a fricken quack too.
At this point I only trust my doctor's advice.
I believe influencers are just in it to make money.
If your an actual medical professional then I might consider your advice but I still research, research, research.
We should 100% verify where information is coming from. I do not and cannot give medical advice. I represent the patient experience. This issue has been in my thoughts recently and it was helpful to get this news as I had not seen it elsewhere. I live in Vermont, USA and so much is in chaos right now in our country it is hard to keep up with news.

It’s not a term I use to describe myself, but I’m appreciative of any awards I receive for my thyroid advocacy work 🙂
